Fabric Choices
Below are the available fabrics to choose. New fabrics are on order every couple weeks (some of the same patters, some new patterns).
Note about cotton fabrics: cottons come in various thickness, weave, and feel. Each pattern/fabric will vary from another in these attributes. Contact me if you have questions.

Additional Limited Stock Fabrics - if you previously ordered a mask from me, I do still have a little bit of those fabrics available here. You can also message me on Etsy and I'll let you know if I have any of it left, or you can choose one but also let me know a second choice fabric.

Description
Our face masks are individually handcrafted with love in the USA. Made from one or two layers of durable, 100% cotton, and soft stretching elastic ear-loops (or behind-the-head) for comfort. These stylish and reusable masks are offered in a variety of fabric patterns. The masks
The masks are a pleated designor with a cup style design. for a contoured and comfortable fit.
The fabrics are pre-washed on hot to pre-shrink them.
All masks are made to order and due to hygiene reasons, are final sales. The design/construction may change slightly over time based on feedback from users. If you have questions, please ask before ordering.
Eyeglass wearers: the bendable nose bridge significantly reduces, if not eliminates, fogging of your eyeglasses.
MASK DESIGNS
Design #1) Pleated with Filter Pocket: the face mask has an opening on the back that will allow you to insert filters of your choice. Your filter is removable adding extra flexibility in how you choose to use the face mask. A filter is NOT included with the mask and unfortunately, I don't have any recommendations for a filter to use. This mask will consist of an outer printed or solid fabric and white inside fabric. It will have a nose-wire for a close fit around the nose. You may ask for it to be made without the nose-wire.
Design #2) Pleated: the face mask is a pleated design with two layers of tightly woven cotton fabric. This mask will consist of an outer printed or solid fabric and white inside fabric. It will have a nose-wire for a close fit around the nose. You may ask for it to be made without the nose-wire.
Design #3) Easier Breathing Pleated: this style was design based on requests from several customers who are athletes, in physical therapy, required to wear them for work, and who are finding it difficult to breath in the two-layer style of face masks. It is 1-layer thick and therefore does not have a filter pocket. It will have a nose-wire for a close fit around the nose. You may ask for it to be made without the nose-wire.
Design #4) Cup Style: the face mask is a cup-style design with two layers of tightly woven cotton fabric. This mask will consist of an outer printed or solid fabric and white inside fabric. It will have a nose-wire for a close fit around the nose. You may ask for it to be made without the nose-wire.
Sizes and approximate measurements: Pleated are available in 4 sizes - Standard size fits most. Measurements may vary slightly due to being hand crafted.
Pleated Small: 6.5-7 in X 3 in (expandable up to 6.5 in height)
Pleated Standard: 7.5-8 in X 3 in (expandable up to 6.5 in height)
Pleated Standard-Wide: 8.5-9 in X 3 in (expandable up to 6.5 in height)
Pleated Large: 8.5-9 in X 3.25in (expandable up to 8.5 in height)
Material: 100% cotton fabric, elastic ear band is poly/rubber. Optional: Satin ribbon (polyester) in place of elastic, in various colors, upon request. Nose piece is metal and cotton (first batch was metal and not-cotton). Note about cotton fabrics: cottons come in various thickness, weave, and feel. Each pattern/fabric will vary from another in these attributes. Please contact me if you have questions.
Care Instructions: Hand wash or machine wash. Can be washed on hot-water cycle.
Durable/Reusable: Designed with a channel for the elastic allowing you the ability to replace the elastic if it wears out or replace it to convert the mask to a behind-the-head style. You can request to have the nose piece permanently sewn in (stays in place better) or be removable.

Elastic: the masks use 1/8 inch skinny elastic with lots of stretch (in my opinion, as far as elastics go). The color of the elastics will be white or tan or dark brown (I'll pick what looks best unless you specify), although I have black and grey on order. Feel free to request a color in the personalization box and I’ll use it if I have it.
You will receive the mask with the elastic tied in a loose knot. Please adjust it to your preferred size and then pull the knot tight. You can hide the knot inside the seam allowance.
To replace the elastic, it is easiest to use a Dritz Ball Point Bodkin tool or "The Purple Thing" tool which makes it slide through easily, but you can also try a small safety pin to push through the channel. The tools are available on Amazon for ~$5.
If you are not accustomed to wearing a mask, you may feel discomfort with the elastic, especially if you pull it too tight.
Over-the-Ears vs Behind-the-Head: By default, masks are made with the elastic to go around the ears. If you would like the elastic behind the head instead, please leave a note in the personalization box on your order. I saw this picture of a creative way to convert the elastic - use a large paper clip, or two, behind the head to pull the elastic behind the ears effectively making it a behind-the-head version.
I have done this to one of my masks using a couple of paper clips until I got it a comfortable length. It also allows me to take it off and hang it around my neck instead of putting it down on a surface.
